Taylor Baptiste

Taylor Baptiste is a young woman from the Osoyoos Indian Band of the Syilx Okanagan Nation. Taylor is passionate about connecting to land and culture through hiking, canoeing, gathering, hunting and fishing. She is currently attending Emily Carr University of Art & Design in the traditional territory of Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh First Nations. Taylor uses her art practice to explore, express, and feel confident in her identity as an Indigenous Woman.
