Louie Stevens is a member of the Secwépemc Nation, born on the Shuswap Reserve. Louie’s parents were Lawrence Stevens and Marcelline Stevens. Louie has been married to LaVerna Stevens for 50 years. Louie worked at CanFor in Radium for 30+ years. He and LaVerna have three children- Basil Jr, Clarissa and Kathy, and five grandchildren.
