Kale Nissen (Sqáqlaʔxʷqn̓) is a member of the Colville Confederated Tribes, of the San Poil, Sinixt / Sn̓ʕ̓ay̓čkstx bands. He is the son of Crystal Conant and Brian Nissen. His maternal grandparents are Debbie Wagner and Scott Conant. Paternal grandparents are Casey Nissen and Kathy Desautel. His great-grandparents are Sheila Cleveland, Lois James, Sharon Nissen, Stretch Cleveland, and Ray D Nissen. Kale is in the 9th grade at Salish School of Spokane. During his free time he enjoys skateboarding and playing the guitar.
