Weytk xwexwéytep Jeanette Jules nswest Tk’emlups te Sewaken
Jeanette is a traditional knowledge keeper of genealogy, spirituality, ceremonies, history, medicines and more of the Secwepemc people.
She worked in all areas of education for the Kamloops Indian Band, Tk’emlups te Secwépemc, for 32 years before running for council for in 2009. Jeanette served as a councillor for 12 years and held portfolios in Natural Resources, Community Services, Justice, Title and Rights and Legal.
