Deb Crow

My name is Deb Crow (Terbasket). My father was from the Lower Similkameen Indian Band and my mother from the Kamloops/Tk’emlups Indian Band. I have been involved in our Salmon Honouring for many years (I’ve lost track of how many!) I am a cook. I like to gather to support the ceremonies with traditional foods, including our Four Food Chiefs. I have cooked for the Salmon Feast in the Sylix territory at Okanagan Falls. I travel to provide lunch for the salmon fry release ceremonies and the Calling the Salmon Home ceremony. I have seen the results of our prayers, especially for the salmon.
